The Capital Campaign : From President's Desk:

At the onset of The University of Toledo's current Capital Campaign, the phrase "The time is now" was adopted as a call to action to our many alumni, friends and donors.

These words have never rung more true than they do here at the dawn of our newly merged University.

By bringing together The University of Toledo and the Medical University of Ohio, we have created an academic powerhouse that brings pride to our students, faculty, staff, alumni and community.

We are working hard to transform UT into a university of distinction and your participation will help us realize our mission: to improve the human condition; to advance knowledge through excellence in learning, discovery and engagement; and to serve as a diverse, student-centered public metropolitan research university.

On behalf of the students, faculty and staff of the University, it is my privilege to ask you to review our initiatives and to consider making a leadership gift to the Campaign for The University of Toledo. Your generosity and participation will validate for the rest of the community the worthiness of our plans and goals. Most important, your gift will have a significant positive impact on our students now and those who follow in the years to come.
